My server is friendslist only. What does this mean?
It is a special list that i add usernames to, once added those users get priority and can always connect.
Why do i use friendslist only? Simple i want to build up a database of metal files for all to share only users who share metal are added to this list.

Help DeathNap! connect to redirect.deathnap.com port 8875
Current status: Down
This server will redirect you to a random DeathNap server (not full).
To connect to this server you need a compatible client.
audioGnome is NOT compatible, Winmx is compatible -(friendslist and moderator+ only since it is blocked by most servers)
I have picked out a client that is suitable for this type of server.
The client is SunshineUN.
There are several reasons why using both SunshineUN and the redirect server will help both you and DeathNap.
1. SunshineUN only connects to 1 server, this means you will have a smaller upload queue therefore more files will be available for download on the network.
2. SunshineUN and the redirect server combats the problem of servers that shutdown causing you to lose connection because if this happens SunshineUN detects that it has been disconnected and will automatically try to reconnect, each time this happens the redirect server will attempt to redirect you to a random "Active server" ensuring that you keep your connection to the network alive.
3. SunshineUN uses a small memory footprint and can easily be run alongside winmx or audioGnome without using a ton of resources.
4. SunshineUN properly follows the protocol (unlike winmx) so it always shares files correctly.
5. SunshineUN has many great features, which i try to explain the best i can on the SunshineUN features page.
The other way in which you can help DeathNap if you have a fast and stable connection and lots of files to share is to stay always connected, as i mentioned SunshineUN and the redirect server can help you do this.

Important notes:
Firstly when you connect to the redirect server make sure you are sharing, some servers may inccur a temporary ban for users who do not share any or only a few files.
Secondly when connecting to the redirect server the first time you will need to be patient, connecting can be slow and may need a few retries untill a good server is found, this is because the redirect server is trying to find a good connection for you!
And remember DeathNap is Metal only!
